This collection gathers ephemera, pamphlets, posters, newsletters and publications pertaining to happenings in the Arts of South Florida. Topics include fine arts, performing arts, music, dance, and film.

Drawn from Harvey Zipkin's self-published photo book, Wynwood: A City Within (2016), this collection consists of photographic prints shot in the documentary style. The photographs document the remaining Hispanic and African American communities of Wynwood, as the area becomes increasingly gentrified. A CD containing digital images from the photo book is also included.

An artificial collection containing bound and unbound scrapbooks of newspaper clippings, photographs, ephemera, postcards, and notes commemorating events, organizations, people, and places in Florida. Topics include tourism, real estate development, hurricanes and floods, organizations and clubs, transportation, and horticulture. Many of the scrapbooks document the social lives, interests, and activities of Miami residents.

The Sports Ephemera Collection gathers ephemera and news clippings that document events, places, people and issues related to sports in South Florida and the Caribbean. Files include  brochures, pamphlets, newspaper clippings and related materials.

Programs for Super Bowls III & VI to VIII, Joe Robbie Stadium dedication and GameDay magazine for the Dolphins vs. Bears game, 1987. Also include ticket stubs, a menu from Brennan’s restaurant in New Orleans signed by Dolphin players Garo Yepremian and Nick Buoniconti in 1985.

The Visual Arts Ephemera Collection gathers ephemera and news clippings that document events, places, people and issues related to the visual arts in South Florida. Files include  brochures, pamphlets, newspaper clippings and related materials.

The Raymond A. Mohl collection contains mostly newspaper clippings from the Miami Times that informed Dr. Mohl's  extensive research on urban issues in South Florida. The bulk pertains to the experiences of minority groups such as African Americans, Cubans, Haitians, Jamaicans,and Puerto Ricans in Miami. Topics include immigration, race relations, riots, and the trial of police officer, Wiliam Lozano.  Of note is a collection of columns that T. Willard Fair wrote for the Miami Times.

Also includes articles and student papers.

The Opera Ephemera Collection includes playbills, season brochures, and newspaper clippings relating to opera in South Florida.

New World School of the Arts College's students participated in Documenting the Moving Landscape workshop. Led by Kayla Delacerda (ArtCenter/South Florida and BHQF Fellow), this photography and history workshop captures Miami's urban landscape and describes a cultural identity outside of the most visible and circulated images of South Florida.

This collection documents a portion of Senior Judge Robert M. Deehl's 52 years of service on the bench in Miami-Dade County. The scrapbook and newspaper clippings highlight certain prominent or ongoing cases and issues that Mr. Deehl presided over, such as traffic violations including drunk driving, drag racing, car sales corruption, uninsured motors, and the advent of the Implied Consent law.

In addition, the clippings cover a range of topics such as solar heater disputes, removal of the Coral Gables Courthouse, ratings of judges in Miami-Dade County, and the legal profession in general, as well as crime and vice clippings. Some clippings cover specific trials including those of Miami City attorney George Knox as well as ex-Miami Dade School Board member Kathleen Magrath.

Of particular importance are clippings discussing Cassius Clay’s (Muhammad Ali) arrest for driving without a license. Among these clippings are a handwritten letter signed by Muhammad Ali asking Judge Robert M. Deehl if he would consider an early release, which was subsequently granted.

Administrative records, scrapbooks, photographs and negatives, document the Cathedral from the beginning as a church to its elevation as cathedral of the Diocese. Includes vestry minutes, yearbooks, and events programs documenting the religious and social activities of members. Photographs of the building under construction and at completion are included.

The collection gathers menus, ephemera, cookbooks and recipes that document events, places, and issues related to food in South Florida.

Correspondence, photoprints, legal documents, bills, newsclippings, and notes on family history are concerned with the linked McDonald-Reilly-Pero families; with Henry M. Flagler, for whom Joseph A. McDonald built hotels; and gives sidelights on the early history of Miami. Includes details on the building and furnishing of John B. Reilly's home at 1411 SW 11 Street, Miami (1926-1928); considerable correspondence on a proposed sugarcane plantation and sugar refinery for Miami (1911); and a number of letters from Flagler to Joseph McDonald.

Correspondence, clippings, scrapbooks and photographs covering the Southerlands' activities. The bulk of the materials pertain to the International Tropical Flower Show and document Mrs. Southerland's extensive travel throughout Latin American and the Caribbean to promote and procure exhibits for the show. Mr. Southerland's papers cover his work on behalf of the South Florida Crippled Children's Hospital.  Information on Kotaro Suto who served as Carl Fisher's gardener on Miami Beach is also included
