Shows Dr. Simpson sitting and reading a magazine in the clearing of a hammock. Probably photographed on his property, the Sentinels, which was located in Buena Vista (northeast Miami, Fla.).
Partial caption handwritten on verso: Do you know this old duffer? I do. He is sitting in a seat in the hammock, has just been hard at work and the sweat is dripping off him . . . All this vegetation is wild.
